As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m going to focus my efforts in August on two things: Working towards a more whole-foods, plant-based diet, and reviewing a new workout program.
For the workout program, I have chosen to give Kubex a try. This gym offers a few features that I think will work well for me at this point in my training:
- 30 minute workouts
- guided exercise technology (a trainer without having to pay for a trainer)
- privacy (usually I like group things, but I’m so embarrassed about my weight right now that this is awesome
- convenience (not too far from work, good hours, etc.)
- a mix of cardio and strength training
Do you go to Kubex? What do you like or not like about it? Is there anything in particular that you would like to know about it that I can check on during my month sojourn here?
